2015 CPBI Charity Benefit

                                  Another Successful Year

More than 200 guests partied ‘80s-style at the annual charity benefit for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada on Feb. 5, 2015.  Held at the Liberty Grand in Toronto, the event included a three-course gala dinner, photo booth, silent auction, Mystery Wall, Wheel of Fortune and raffle with prizes such as a pair of Porter tickets for anywhere the company flies and a signed Leafs jersey. Guests could enjoy complimentary Sex on the Beach cocktails or chill out with a beer at the Cheers bar.

Madonna and Boy George hosted the evening as well as the ever-popular trivia challenge between tables. Great-West Life emerged as the big winner.  Two wonderful speakers, Chantel Wicks and Evan Rootenberg, gave a heartfelt perspective on what it’s like to live with Crohn’s disease and why our support matters.

Alyssa Hodder, editor of Benefits Canada, also presented awards to the Top 40 Money Managers in six categories.

All in all, the event raised approximately $25,000 for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.   A special thank you goes out to the sponsoring organizations—Great-West Life, Green Shield Canada, Manulife Financial, Morneau Shepell, Franklin Templeton Institutional, Triasima, Benefits Canada and Benefits and Pensions Monitor—for their support.

Congratulations, and thanks to everyone who attended. It was a totally rad time!

Thank you to the Main Event Sponsor
