The Canadian Pension & Benefits Institute (CPBI) is proud to honour four exceptional members as inductees into the CPBI Hall of Distinction for 2025. This recognition celebrates individuals who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and leadership within CPBI and the broader pension and benefits industry across Canada.
This year’s inductees are:
- Sharon Vogrinetz
- Don Forbes
- Doug Volk
- Clark Dehler
These distinguished members have played influential roles in shaping CPBI’s educational programming, governance, and volunteer community. Their decades-long involvement includes leadership on Regional Councils, national committees, and the CPBI Board of Directors.
“These inductees have done more than serve — they’ve shaped lives,” said Tami Dove, Chair of the Member & Volunteer Experience Committee. “Through mentorship, leadership, and a deep commitment to community, they’ve inspired new generations of professionals and helped build a culture of connection and purpose within CPBI. Their legacy is not only in what they’ve contributed, but in the people they’ve empowered along the way.”
Established in 2011, the Hall of Fame was reimagined in 2025 as the CPBI Hall of Distinction, reflecting a more inclusive and ongoing recognition of volunteer impact. The award celebrates both past and present members whose efforts have significantly contributed to CPBI’s mission to support professionals in the pension and benefits sector.
“This year’s inductees reflect the spirit and strength of CPBI,” said Caroline Tison, CEO of CPBI. “Their dedication and leadership have helped shape our organization’s growth and continued relevance in an evolving industry. We are honoured to celebrate their achievements.”
The inductees were formally recognized at FORUM 2025, CPBI’s national conference, during the annual Evening Social Dinner.
