In the spirit of giving back to the community we will again this year be supporting the Calgary Food Bank.
Did you know… · The Calgary Food Bank served over 170,000 clients in the last fiscal year through the Emergency Hamper Program. At about 286 hampers per day, that is an over 20% increase over the previous year. Of those folks, 41% are children. · The Food Bank works with 150 other agencies in the city to support them with food for their kitchens so they can focus their funding on their programs. Over 3,000,000 meals and snacks throughout the city were touched by this program. Almost 42,000 volunteers gave over 122,000 volunteer hours to keep the Food Bank running last year. |
