Saskatoon Luncheon: Key Components of Benefits Administration

Based on conversations with human resource professionals, benefit administrators, and insurers, this presentation compiles tips and tools to help you handle various benefit situations for your employees from enrollment to termination. It will look at the players involved and how communication can play a major role.

Sheryl Armstrong

 

Sheryl Armstrong is a Certified Human Resource Professional with over 20 years of experience in human resources. Her credentials include the Pension Plan Administration Certificate, being a certified trainer in Myers Briggs, and EQi-2.0, as well as being a Payroll Compliance Practitioner. She has worked for organizations varying in size from over 100 to more than 2,000 employees in industries as diverse as the legal field, health and life insurance, gaming, and now construction. She has worked as a generalist and as a specialist in the areas of payroll, compensation, pension and benefits.

In her current role as the Human Resource Manager for Hundseth Power Line Construction, Sheryl has sole responsibility for creating and managing human resource activities which will place Hundseth in an optimal position for further growth and success.

Sheryl has been involved with many organizations, either as a volunteer, board and/or committee member including the Granite Curling Club, Heart & Stroke, the United Way, The Saskatchewan Association of Human Resource Professionals, and of course the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute.
