Hendrik Brakel, the Economist responsible for Europe, the United States and Canada with the Economic & Political Intelligence Centre at Export Development Canada (EDC), will discuss exciting growth prospects for the world economy and Canadian trade with a focus on whether the recovery is on track, particularly in the US. There are three big risks that could derail the global economy that will be described, as well as the outlook for emerging markets.
