Andrew Sweeney | | Andrew is a senior institutional portfolio manager with Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management (PH&N IM). He has primary responsibility for clients whose fixed income or equity portfolios have a particular emphasis on global equities. Andrew joined PH&N IM in 2007, having previously managed large capitalization Canadian equity portfolios for a large, well-respected Canadian institutional asset manager. Andrew holds a BBA from Simon Fraser University and has earned both CA and CFA designations. Since entering the investment industry in 1995, he has had analytical research responsibilities for most sectors within the Canadian equity market and, as a result, has acquired a strategic, long-term perspective regarding market dynamics and the influence of macroeconomic developments on Canadian institutional portfolios. |
