Eric maintains RBC GAM’s global economic forecast and advises its portfolio managers on key themes and risks. He is also a member of the RBC GAM Investment Strategy Committee (RISC), which is responsible for the firm's global asset mix recommendations. Eric is a frequent media commentator, appearing regularly on CNBC, BNN and other networks. Eric’s written editorials have appeared in numerous industry publications.

Marlene Puffer, Ph.D., CFA, ICD.D

Marlene Puffer was appointed President and CEO of the CN Investment Division, which manages one of the largest corporate pension funds in Canada, in March 2018. Prior to joining CN, Dr. Puffer was a Partner at Alignvest Investment Management. She has over 25 years of experience in investments, pensions and capital markets. Marlene is former vice-chair of the Board of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan.

Davis consults with investment managers in North America on a variety of distribution, marketing and product opportunities. Previously, Davis was a Director in Barclays Investment Banking FIG practice where he provided M&A and capital markets advice to asset management clients. Prior to that, he helped found the Strategic Advisory Group within Lehman Brothers’ Prime Services group.

Terra Klinck is a partner with Brown Mills Klinck Prezioso LLP, a pension and benefits boutique law firm, with over 20 years experience in the pension and benefits field. Terra provides ongoing advice to provincially and federally regulated employers and administrators on all legal issues relating to DB & DC registered pension plans, savings plans and supplementary pension plans,  plan governance, investment and administration matters.

Julie Cays, CFA
Chief Investment Officer , CAAT Pension Plan

With more than 30 years of experience in the capital markets, Julie has been instrumental in shaping the CAAT investment portfolio to meet the Plan’s long term funding goals. She is the Vice Chair of the board of directors of the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance, Chair of the investment advisory committee of the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation and is a past Chair of the Pension Investment Association of Canada (PIAC).

Christine oversees the corporate, pension and insurance assets of the CAA Club Group. She is a member of the Investment Advisory Committee to ‘The One Investment Program’, a program designed for Ontario Municipalities. She is a member of PIAC’s risk committee. She previously spent 8 years at Mercer Investments as part of its global manager research team. Prior to joining CCG, she was part of Invesco’s global product development team.
