Work life balance: What works? What Doesn’t? • Linda Duxbury, Carleton University •  This talk summarizes the key findings from the reporting coming out of the 2001 Balancing Work, Family and Lifestyle National study with respect to the two most prevalent and harmful forms of work-life conflict: role overload and how work interferes with family. Specifically it answers the following questions with respect to these two forms of work-life conflict: What is it? What causes it? Who is at risk? Why should organizations care? What can the key stakeholders (i.e. businesses, employees, families) do to reduce it? ••• Please note that this session is being held at the Edmonton Petroleum Club (11110 – 108 Street) on Thursday, September 18 and is starting 30 minutes earlier than regular CPBI Sessions •••
