The first annual “Horizons Report” prepared by Rogers Group Financial was conducted with Canadians aged 49 – 64 who expect to retire within the next three to seven years and have investable assets of $500,000 or more. This survey will give you an idea of what employees are thinking as they approach retirement and what is important to them. But how realistic is this ideal world or is it merely fantasy? Join guest speaker, Neil Lloyd as he will walk us through options available to Canadian employers, and the ‘ins and outs’ of offering benefits for your retiree population. He will focus on how things are changing, in particular looking on the complexities facing retirees from DC plans and RRSPs where their income may be far less secure. He will also discuss some of the products being offered in an effort to address future retirees’ concerns.
