CASE MANAGER

Salary Range: $ 67,178 - $83,973

One permanent position - (Winnipeg office) - Competition 22-78

One permanent position - (Brandon office) - Competition 22-88

 

Do you have experience working in a claims management environment providing personalized service to claimants and/or other stakeholders? Have you developed and implemented case management plans which include rehabilitation and return to work services, promotion of disability management concepts and coordination of vocational rehabilitation and other professional services? WCB is currently recruiting for 7 Case Managers to work one on one with stakeholders to guide them through the Workers Compensation system, build individual case management plans and assist with recovery and return to work. The Case Manager is the main point of contact providing personalized service through interactions (often face to face and at locations outside the office) with injured workers, employers, healthcare providers and other stakeholders. Case Managers seek out, provide and analyze information in order to make sound decisions regarding entitlement to benefits, products and services. Case Managers are required to have a valid driver's license, their own vehicle, and be willing to travel.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a related field such as Commerce, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum five (5) years experience making entitlement decisions while providing client service
