Salary Range:  $ 68,868- $ 86,087


The Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) provides our customers with valued services for insurance, prevention, compensation and return to work.  Compensation Services is a division of the WCB responsible for the delivery of compensation and support for return health and work for workers and employers.

Compensation Performance Consultants use knowledge of business process reengineering, project management principles and change management methodology to support Compensation Services in:

-           the application of legislation and policies

-           the development and enhancement of processes and procedures

-           the  establishment and improvement of current and future performance measures

-           technical application support and expertise

-           resource modelling

As a Compensation Performance Consultant you will use your well-developed investigative and analytical skills to solve problems and develop solutions using data.  You will have opportunities to improve our organization's customer service and implement changes to maximize operational efficiency.   Your strong interpersonal skills will assist in engaging, building rapport and collaborating with staff at all levels within our organization.

The compensation for this position is currently under review, subject to the outcome of the Joint Job Evaluation process.

Ability to communicate proficiently in both official languages (English & French) is an asset.

University degree in a related field plus professional development in business or systems analytics, process reengineering, or project management.

Minimum five (5) year experience applying process improvement and/or project management methodologies and tools in a similar work environment or five (5) years progressive experience in Adjudication, Case Management or Vocational Rehabilitation, or some combination thereof.
