The Federation is currently seeking a Disability Service Representative for the Teachers' Long-Term Disability Plan, a self-administered plan for teachers that provides a monthly disability income to members. This position provides services to members through all means of communication by providing accurate information and technical explanations related to plan provisions. In addition, this position provides administrative support to the Claims Committee.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have completed, or will be working towards a Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation or equivalent, plus 2-3 years of benefits administration experience, preferably in disability claims administration. However, consideration will be given to those who have strong administrative and organizational skills and several years of increasingly responsible office experience. Demonstrated initiative in undertaking assignments and completing work within strict timelines is a definite requirement.
