FCL invites applications for the position of HR Coordinator, Benefits in our home office located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the administration and communication of benefit programs. Responsible for providing technical and analytical support to the HR Specialist, Benefits and Wellness Specialist roles with the implementation and management of benefit programs, policies and processes. Assists with the research, reporting, analysis and forecasting trends related to Benefits and Wellness programs.


Reporting to the Benefits & Wellness Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

  1. Administer and communicate various employee benefit programs including insured benefits, employee family assistance program, recognition, service award program, perfect attendance program, scholarships, and employee parking. Manage and ensure benefit material is up-to-date, relevant and aligns with our brand.
  2. Ensure compliance of benefit programs for the CRS by conducting regular benefit audits and assist in providing relevant education to plan administrators to ensure understanding and compliance.
  3. Compile, track and monitor benefit metrics and analytics to be used to assist in making recommendations for the creation and/or changes to benefit programs.
  4. Support the implementation and enhancements to current benefit programs including insured benefit plan design, and wellness programs.
  5. Other duties as assigned.
