PRIMARY FOCUS

Participate in the design, implementation and communication of pension programs and policies. Provide expert advice enterprise-wide on unique pension issues. Will lead enterprise-wide pension projects.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Rewards & Analytics Centre of Expertise

Lead enterprise wide pension and savings plan projects and coordinates programs/processes in Canada and the US.
Liaise with vendors on contract issues, plan compliance, testing and auditing for the pension plan.
Participate in the design, development and communication of pension programs to include writing of annual regulatory notices and elink and educational content.
Provides advice and counsel to Enbridge on complex pension issues.
Support Labor Relations on pension-related issues
Support the business partners and HR Operations on unique pension issues.
Provide pension education and advice to advisory services Business Partners.
Research, prepare documents, and present at the Pension Administration Committee and Advisory Committees as required.
Research, prepare documents, and present at for Pension Committee meetings.
Attend the Committee meetings as the expert in pension design, funding, governance and best practices.
Provides advice and counsel on pension issues for potential acquisitions.
Responsible for developing retirement planning educational programs in both the US and Canada in conjunction with the Rewards & Analytics CoE.
Undertake analysis to monitor sustainability of pension programs
Support pension administration team and provide training as needed.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

Undergraduate degree
10+ years of pension consulting experience
Actuarial designation an asset
Solid knowledge of pension programs and benefits regulatory issues. 
Solid knowledge of pension governance
Pension design experience
Project Management expertise.
Strong Excel skills
Must have the following capabilities:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by excellent analytical skills.

Ability to drive projects to completion.
