As a valuable member of SHEPP’s core business unit, the Data Technician is responsible for reviewing and processing all primary source data submitted by participating employers, 3sHealth disability administration and other stakeholders. You will also be responsible for performing straight forward calculations and where required, initiating communications with members and participating employers.

This is a full-time 12-month temporary position.


Qualified candidates will possess a post-secondary diploma or certificate in business administration or a related field, supplemented by three or more years of experience in pension administration or financial services, in particular working with large relational databases. A combination of equivalent education, training and experience will be considered. To succeed in this position, you will have strong mathematical skills necessary to understand and perform pension benefit calculations and other member data integrity checks; a demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range:     $54,074 to $67,593 (based on qualifications and skills)
