Claims Service Representative

Up to 8 Permanent Positions - (7:55am - 4:30pm)

Salary Range:  $51,064 - $63,828


Do you have advanced customer service skills that you developed in a service centre, or similar environment? Are you looking for a position focused on obtaining, assessing and evaluating information from a variety of customers; both over the phone and in person? Do you have strong typing skills, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment that is fast paced? WCB is currently recruiting for 8 Claims Service Representatives (CSR). The CSR is the first point of contact in the WCB Claims Service Centre responsible for interpreting and applying policies and procedures to manage and resolve customer inquiries and/or issues. Each day the team of CSRs responds to inquiries from injured workers, employers, representatives, healthcare practitioners and other service providers to ensure the WCB goal of "Putting Customers at the Centre of All we do" is achieved.

Completion of a two (2) year diploma in a related discipline (Business Administration)


Minimum two (2) years experience interpreting and applying processes and procedures to manage and resolve customer inquiries/concerns


Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. (error rate less than 5%)
