Meghan McCreary is a Senior Labour and Employment Partner with MLT Aikins LLP, acting across Western Canada for private and public sector employers in unionized and non-unionized work environments. She is recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in Canada – Labour and Employment Law and has been named one of Canada’s Leading Lawyers in The Canadian Lexpert Legal Directory – employment (management) since 2013.

Meghan’s expertise focuses on labour relations disputes and negotiations, including collective agreement bargaining and interpretation, workplace accommodation, workplace drug and alcohol testing, and discipline and discharge matters. She has extensive experience acting for employers at certification, during collective bargaining, and during strikes and lockouts. She frequently acts as employer counsel in wrongful dismissal litigation and executive employment negotiations. Meghan has appeared as employer’s counsel at all levels of court as well as before labour relations boards, human rights tribunals, and arbitration boards. She is a frequent presenter at conferences and workshops on labour relations, employment, and human rights issues.
