In early 2012, the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA) announced the creation of an industry-wide drug pooling agreement that will protect fully insured private drug plans from bearing the full financial burden of high-cost drugs. In this session, the Executive Director of the Canadian Drug Insurance Pooling Corporation will assist participants in gaining an understanding of this new high cost drug pooling mechanism for fully insured groups in Canada. *Student pricing is available to CPBI members who have student status.
