Who We Are

TRG is a group of employee benefits consultants with a collective 350 years of experience in our industry. We are one of the largest, independent benefits advisory firms in the country and are recognized experts in managing and designing employee benefit and retirement plans.

What We Offer

We know benefits. It’s what we do every day. So naturally we offer a very attractive compensation and benefit package that goes beyond the average. For instance, if you’re interested in developing professionally, we help you do it by reimbursing tuition and offering time off to study (for approved programs).

We also know about work life balance so our environment is one that is flexible, respectful and thoughtful. As such, we offer a variety of supportive programs including: an Employee Assistance Program, a Volunteer Day to connect with the community along with a Donation Matching Program.

Our healthy work environment also includes an integrated wellness plan. We even help you in retirement with Group RRSP contributions after one year of service.

We regularly host team building and social events and here’s why. Because we find that shaking up our perspectives and interactions with coworkers and laughing together builds great spirit. It’s good for employees and that’s good for business. So we do it.

As for location, TRG is in a top-notch central space with an ocean view that’s close to everything you might need: transit, bike commuter facilities, shops, restaurants and a sea wall for those walking meetings and lunches.

Who You Are

You’re fluent in solving problems and queries that arise with plan administrators, internal resources or insurance carriers and are adept at all aspects of the benefits plan marketing data, including obtaining employee data, contracts, preparing specifications, reviewing quotations and compiling the information into a meaningful report.

You also enjoy interacting with new clients and guiding them from the discovery process through to implementing innovative benefit programs that their employees value.

You’re proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, have a strong math aptitude and excellent organizational skills and initiative. Excellent written and communication skills are essential. You work well independently yet your interpersonal skills are well developed as you’ll work with a variety of personnel and clients. Discretion is also a must have when managing confidential information.

Previous work in retirement plan administration is an asset as is either GBA, RPA or CEBS designations.
