Legal Decisions Challenging Benefit Plans!

Case Law & Legislation Review

Plan sponsors, administrators, employers and boards of trustees of benefit plans are challenged today in ways not seen in the past.  The issues seem more complicated as an increasingly diverse workforce demands expanded coverage and challenges conventional plan limitations.  Litigation, human rights challenges and labour arbitrations are on the rise and it is important for plan sponsors to understand their exposure.

Michael Costello, McInnes Cooper    will review recent decisions and legislation impacting employee benefit plans.  You will leave this session with an understanding of the potential impacts these decisions have on your plans and tips to consider for mitigating the risk of legal challenges!
