Lane Quinn Benefit Consultants ltd. is a Calgary based group life and health insurance advisory firm. We are currently looking for an intermediate level Group Benefit Plan Marketing and Renewal Coordinator. Anticipated start date is Wednesday, April 11th, 2012.

The position is full time, Monday through Friday 8am to 4:00pm. A competitive total compensation package is offered with this position.

You will be responsible for coordinating all of our corporate client and prospect marketing specifications. Your duties would include, but not limited to:

Create marketing quote specifications for the insurance carrier with whom we deal
Compile the quote information into our corporate templates
Generate the final report for our Sales Consultants
Respond to underwriting questions throughout the marketing process
Assist the sales team where required

You will also be responsible for entering all preliminary corporate client renewal information into our database. Your duties would include, but not limited to:

Review insurance carrier renewal package to ensure all information has been included
Enter renewal information into our renewal templates
Prepare renewal package for Lane Quinn Consultant
Confirm sold rates with insurer once the renewal has been placed

Exigences:
Our preferred candidate must have the following:

• Post secondary diploma or degree
• 3-5 years marketing experience in the group life and health industry
• Previous experience at an insurance carrier or brokerage firm
• Proficiency in Microsoft XP suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Excellent document writing skills
• Extreme attention to detail, both grammatically and numerically
• Personable and friendly
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• The ability to handle confidential information and data
• A fast learner without having to be micro-managed
• Ability to work both independently and as part of our team
• Clear verbal / written communication as well as interpersonal skills
