 Account Executive, Client Manager (Group Benefits)

As part of the Regional Office infrastructure, the Account Executive is accountable to the voice of the customer. Your consultative approach will be beneficial as you will be required to understand the client needs, create technology partnerships and valued products and services that will effectively facilitate the delivery of unique solutions for clients' benefits packages.

As the primary external relationship manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Plan Advisors and decision makers of Plan Sponsors.

Your knowledge of emerging industry trends and excellent presentation skills will be beneficial as you:
• Optimize delivery of value added services and advice;
• Meet the unique needs and expectations of your clients;
• Achieve the Regional Group Office's sales, persistency objectives and revenue growth targets;
• Enhance sales effort through technological skills acquisition and application to customer selling situations;
• Develop and acquire new clients and expand relationships with existing clients where applicable

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
• University Degree required;
• Prior experience with Account Management is preferred;
• Knowledge of government benefits, insurance law, human rights legislation and private and confidentiality policies;
• Experience in the financial services industry an asset;
• CEBS designation is helpful, but not required;

Knowledge and Competencies:
• Familiar with group benefits plan arrangements, financial and renewal methodology is an asset;
• Strong listening and comprehension skills;
• Proven success in building successful client relationships;
• Driven, self starter who is committed to a career in the financial services industry;
• Understands trends and emerging issues in the industry and how they relate to clients;
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills;

Attributes:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proficiency in making presentations;
• Mathematical/financial aptitude;
• Ability to achieve in a self-directed environment
