We have an exciting corporate opportunity for a Benefits Analyst to join our team.

As a Corporate Benefits Analyst you will be part of a team that provides assistance to Stantec employees for all benefit and leave of absence issues for Stantec employees in Canada. The successful candidate will interact regularly with Regional HR Representatives and other Corporate HR team members. Service will be provided to approximately 5,500 employees across Canada.

Reporting to the Benefits Manager, Canada, this position will be responsible for:

•Responding to various benefit inquiries within established service standard parameters
•Managing leaves of absence (including short term and long term disability)
•Problem solving with internal team members as well as brokers and vendors on group benefits and retirement plan inquiries/problems
•Participating in process review and documentation
•Managing new hire and other benefit presentations
•Contributing to Special Projects as assigned
•Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
•Post-Secondary education in Business Administration and /or Human Resources; a CHRP designation is preferred
•Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working with employee benefits, including disability management
•Sound knowledge and working experience with MS Office Suite
•Experience working with a large, national workforce
•Oracle or other HRMS experience is an asset
•Excellent communication skills
•Self-motivated and managed, able to multi task and manage a large volume of work; team player
•Customer service oriented
•Attention to detail
