 Business Development Manager, Group Pensions - Consultants Market

Job Function:
The person in this position develops a network of consultants from the Toronto market by promoting the competitive features and benefits of the pension products. He or she acts as the liaison officer between the consultants and the sectors involved in the organization.



Main responsibilities:

Promotes the company's pension products and services to the consultants to reach annual sales objectives and retain his or her assigned business segment.
Acts as account manager, provides support to consultants and recommends suitable pension products.
Acts as the liaison officer between the consultants and the various sectors of the organization involved in sales support and the implementation of pension products or services.
Prepares and presents draft responses to request for proposals sent by the consultants.
Presents the service offer in finalist presentations.
Provides the organization with market intelligence based on requests and demands of consultants.
Requirements:
7 years of related experience
University degree or the equivalent in experience
In-depth knowledge of the Toronto consultants market
In-depth knowledge of retirement programs and group retirement savings products
Business acumen
Customer focus and interpersonal savvy
Strong negotiating and presentation skills
Solution driven individual
Perserverance
