Role Summary:

The Service Representative is responsible for servicing an in-force block of business as well as participating in the acquisition and installation of new business. This position is also expected to participate in project related activities to support region goals.

Main Accountabilities:
• Participate in finalist presentations
• Meet with new clients to gather data critical to installation of new business
• Debrief with client after installation of new account
• Initiate service calls to client
• Demo Sun Life''s new Internet capabilities
• Promote Sun Life''s image and Group Product and Service capabilities with Plan Administrators and Brokers/Consultants
• Conduct employee meetings
• Provide training and on going support to Plan Administrators
• Provide guidance and coaching to new staff
• Maintain open communications with other Sales Offices and Regional centres to share service delivery improvement ideas
• Create an environment that promotes team member accountability and autonomy
• Actively seek to find solutions to client issues

Notes/Unique Requirements:
• Moderate travel expected - approximately 2-4 days per month - Flexibility regarding travel is required. (i.e. client visits, employee meetings, service conference etc)
• Valid driver''s license and car required
• There may be times when additional work beyond the normal work day is required
