The B.C. Family Law Act comes into force March 18th, 2013 and substantially revises pension division rules. The Canada Pension Plan Act has also been significantly revised. This timely half-day course covers the basics of dividing benefits when a relationship ends and explores what has changed under the new legislation. The session will also provide an update on amendments to the Canadian Pension Plan.
